You manifest what you are a clearing for.
Consider that the space we are in is the cause of the results we produce in our lives. Simply put, look at your results and you will see your intention and the clearing you are in.
If you are a clearing for love, you will attract love
If you are a clearing for generosity, you will attract generosity
If you are a clearing for abundance, you will attract abundance
What does it really mean to be a clearing for or to be a space for?
It pertains to your dominant state of Being. And Being a certain way doesn’t mean not doing anything, it means getting out of your own way. Nature abhors vacuum and every time it sees an empty space it fills it up with what the clearing is attracting and seeking. The universe is a reflection of you. What you put into the universe and the world, it gives it back to you manifold.
When you visit India especially to the remotest parts of the country, one of the things that will strike you the most is the people’s hospitality. They may be lacking in the basic amenities and may be engulfed with poverty, yet if you show up at their door, you will be treated as Gods and Goddesses, and they will share everything they have with generosity, and unconditional love.
This specific way of Being – treating others as divine beings, has it’s foundation in their value system which is derived from the ancient Vedic tradition which states: “Atithi Devo Bhava” which means ‘Guest is God in disguise’.
Just Imagine! What is possible in a world where our interaction with another human as being an essence of God – as divine beings is the default? My conviction is that the world would be transformed beyond our wildest dreams –world peace, environment protection, disease control and other major global issues would see tremendous progress. I also strongly believe respect, listening and spirituality will be restored on this planet.
Mother Teresa was asked once – how does she get the strength to transform the world day in and day out? And she answered – she doesn’t focus on transforming the world. All she focuses on is one person at a time. If she can make a difference in the life of one child where the child gets that he/she is loved and that they matter, she has transformed the world.
What matters to you? What is important to you? What would you like to be remembered for? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
The wicked see this universe as a hell, and the partially good see it as heaven, while the perfect beings realize it as God Himself. Only when a man sees this universe as God does the veil fall from his eyes; then that man, purified and cleansed, finds his whole vision changed. – Vivekananda
